Earlier on Wednesday, 452,141 Covid-19 patients were detected while 1,341 deaths related to the disease were reported worldwide.

As of thursday morning (15-09-2022), a total of 615,502,436 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 worldwide as the death toll rises to 6,523,234 while 594,657,603 patients have recovered, according to Worldometers data.

According to Worldometers data, The United States has topped the daily death tolls while south korea has topped the daily virus cases.

In the last 24 hours, The United States has reported 314 deaths by Covid-19 and 55,398 virus cases, logging a total of 1,077,477 COVID deaths and 97,340,016 virus cases since the onset of the pandemic.

The Worldometer data shows that south korea has logged 93,904 new coronavirus cases and 60 deaths in a span of 24 hours. So far, the country has reported 27,593 deaths and 24,193,038 COVID cases.

Japan has reported 191 COVID-19 deaths and 78,701 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, soaring the death toll to 42,985 and the overall caseload to 20,300,387 in the country due to the pandemic.

Germany, in the last 24 hours, has reported 46,514 COVID cases, bringing the overall caseload to 32,604,993 while 230 deaths were reported during the period, climbing the death toll to 148,728 in the country.

The coronavirus, which was first reported in China in 2019, affects 228 countries and territories worldwide.
